In the fields of school education and adult education, Movetia is funding 18 mobility projects this year, thereby facilitating some 400 continuing education and training exchange trips to other European countries. This enables participants to broaden their professional horizons there, discuss ideas with colleagues in their field about methodical and didactic approaches, and build up a valuable international network.

The kick-off event on 12th June 2019 in Bern marked the official start of 18 new projects for professional exchange and continuing education and training in other European countries. Movetia congratulated the project managers on the funding of their continuing education and training projects, all of which are making a valuable contribution to improving the quality of the Swiss education system.

For school education, the subject areas covered by the funded projects range from the exchange of ideas about good practice for dealing with conflicts in primary schools to the development of teaching methods for self-directed learning and the discussion of the digital transformation of staff management in schools. In adult education, the project participants who are seeking a professional exchange of ideas and knowledge and transnational cooperation come from a broad spectrum of institutions, ranging from libraries to parental education and the hotel industry.

At the kick-off event, the Movetia representatives gave an overview over the various stages of a mobility project. They presented the dos and don’ts of project management and the contractual requirements with regard to documentation, reporting and the dissemination of the results.

Besides providing administrative information the event also offered the project managers the opportunity to share their experiences and ideas with each other.

Movetia wishes all projects the best of luck!
