Mobility Day 2023
The Mobility Day is dedicated to the promotion of international mobility. This pilot project will take place on three university campuses in Geneva, Lugano and Zurich and aims to encourage students to go on a mobility during their studies.
"What if I went on a mobility abroad? Movetia wants to get everyone studying or working at the institution hosting the event to consider this question. To this end, various activities will be offered on the participating campuses in order to exchange ideas and provide information about mobility opportunities. The day will end with a special Silent Disco guaranteed to get people moving!
Thursday 5 October - University of Geneva (UNIGE) - Uni Mail
As part of their International Week, UNIGE will be hosting the Mobility Day at Uni Mail for an entire afternoon.

Thursday 26 October - Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) - Campus Ovest Lugano
USI is organising a week of events under the title "Il mondo in USI" and will be hosting the Mobility Day on its campus on Thursday.

Thursday 2 November - Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) - Toni-Areal Zurich
The ZHdK will be holding an all-day Mobility Day in Zurich.
Context and objectives
Movetia is launching two new events in 2023: a mobility week (Austauschwoche) for school education and the Mobility Day for higher education institutions. These actions will take place as part of the national "Learning by going" campaign.
Awareness - Stimulation - Information - Development: these are the objectives of the Mobility Day within higher education institutions. The idea is to open up discussions on the possibilities of studying or doing an internship abroad via the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP).
