This year, Movetia co-organised the annual adult education event on the topic of international networking in collaboration with the Swiss Federation for Adult Education (SVEB). As well as providing information, the workshop also gave participants time to work on their project ideas.

The annual adult education event on the topic of international networking in the area of basic skills was held in Zurich on 23 October. At the workshop, which was jointly organised by the SVEB and Movetia. Participants discussed the challenges of European cooperation faced by organisations in the field of continuing education. First, two concrete international project examples were presented: the DIDO cooperation project (Dropping in the dropouts) run by the SVEB, and the Ambassador project, a mobility project organised by the Swiss Reading and Writing Association. Following a short, humorous section about misunderstandings in international projects, the participants worked in small groups to elaborate their initial project ideas and get to know Movetia’s funding programmes. Thanks to the small groups with 12 participants, there was enough time and space to answer personal questions and concerns, which was highly motivating.

We look forward to lots of new applications in response to the 2019 Call.
