Youth in Action is publishing three reports on especially successful projects: one that demonstrates particularly effective cooperation, one that promotes equal opportunities and one that delivered high quality thanks to impact assessment.

Many innovative ideas in the field of youth work have been implemented in recent years – including many exchange and mobility projects. Three such projects have been selected due to their quality in various aspects. Read on and let these good practice reports inspire your new project. 

Greater mutual understanding through music and dance

Mobility projects should be open to all young people, irrespective of their individual life situations. This youth exchange brought together deaf and hearing young people from Armenia, Germany and Switzerland to put together a dance routine, which they performed in Zurich.

High quality thanks to impact assessment

Systematic evaluation of the youth project NOW Journey is incorporated in all its activities. This makes the results transparent and allows the young participants to measure the impact of their own social projects. At the same time, it ensures that projects make an impact and have a lasting effect.

Concrete results through longstanding cooperation

The cooperation between the association for open youth work (toj) of the city of Bern and Outreach mobile youth work Berlin is paying off, as five youth workers from Bern travelled to the partner organisation in Berlin to find inspiration for their new youth centre.
