Under the new 2018–2020 international programme, the existing framework for educational mobility and cooperation will be expanded geographically and established funding instruments and models will be developed. The focus will be on innovative cooperation with partners outside of Erasmus+ programme countries.
The Federal Council laid the foundations for this three-year pilot phase at the beginning of the year when it amended the Ordinance on International Cooperation in Education, Professional Education and Training, Youth Affairs and Mobility (ICEMO). The Ordinance entered into force on 1 March and is based on the Swiss solution for promoting international mobility in education from 2018 to 2020 (dispatch).
