Does your project take place in Switzerland or is it a bilateral project abroad?
In that case, the Swiss project partner submits the application to Movetia and requests funding for all participating partner organisations. The application is submitted via the online tool (Name of the form: Swiss Programme for Erasmus+ - Youth in Action).
Would you like to take part in an Erasmus+ project abroad?
In that case, a partner organisation in another European country submits the application to the relevant National Agency for Erasmus+. The Swiss organisation is not mentioned in this application but, simultaneously, applies to Movetia for funding for participants from Switzerland. The application is submitted via the online tool (Name of the form: Participation in a project Erasmus+ - Youth in Action).
The applicant organisation must be based in Switzerland. Partner organisations may come from both a programme country and a neighbouring partner country (please see below for list of countries).
At least two organisations from different countries must take part.
Within the framework of Youth in Action, cooperation is possible with partner organisations from the following countries:
Programme countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Northern Macedonia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom.

You will find the specific formal criteria (details regarding duration of the activity, age of the participants, etc.) on the following pages:
All project proposals are examined with regard to quality and marked according to a points system:
1. Relevance of the project
2. Quality of the project planning
3. Effect of the project and dissemination of the results
No support is granted for projects which promote racist, xenophobic or anti-semitic ideologies, or discrimination against minorities; impact negatively on gender equality; have content-related or organisational ties to extremist organisations; incite or glorify violence; are conducted by sects or sect-like organisations.
As a general principle, funding is effected in flat-rate contributions (allowances). For the detailed list and explanation of the contributions, please see the Overview of Grants.
