Good ideas for mobility and cooperation worldwide are called for here: the new international programmes from Movetia are aligned with Swiss educational institutions that wish to try out innovative partnerships and new ideas for mobility – even outside Europe.

Whether it is South America or Siberia: the new international programme from Movetia supports pilot projects with institutions and organisations outside Europe. You test innovative funding models in international educational mobility and partnership and support the Swiss federal government in further developing its funding practices in this field.

Which projects are funded?

The projects should have added value for the institutions and organisations themselves as well as for the Swiss education system.

How the pilot projects are funded?

The international programme from Movetia makes provision for two funding instruments:

  • Open project fund: a carte blanche, which means that anything is possible and no activities or fixed fees are defined. The project promoters are free to design it as they wish. You will find information on the procedure as well as the forms on the open project fund website.
  • Specific programmes for each stage of education: proven measures for international educational cooperation (such as international school partnerships or intensive programmes) for the worldwide networking of Swiss educational institutions and organisations. You will find the specific offers, funding criteria and application documents for compulsory education, vocational education and training (VET) as well as higher education on the relevant subpages.
