Brexit: collaboration between Swiss and UK institutions


Brexit took place on the night of 31 January 2020. Despite this, the United Kingdom remains an official member of the Erasmus+ and Horizon framework programmes for Calls 2019 and 2020. A joint declaration to enable this participation to continue in 2021 and beyond was signed by 36 European and English university organisations. swissuniversities is one of the signatories.

In Switzerland, within the framework of the Swiss Programme for Erasmus+ (Calls 2019 and 2020), valid for all educational sectors (including the Swiss-European Mobility Programme), all mobility can continue between Swiss and UK institutions.
