More mobility of Swiss talents in the space field

The European Space Agency (ESA) has worked closely with Switzerland to improve the number of Swiss students applying to ESA internships. The result: an 173% increase of Swiss applicants was reached in the last year. The campaign of Space Exchange Switzerland (SXS) for internships is an insightful example on how mobility grants can be used to foster Swiss talent in the field of space. 

Kick off event for international exchange projects in school education

At the kick-off event for the international mobility projects funded in the Autumn Call 2023, the school education team guided the newly appointed project leaders through all phases of project management. In addition to tips for successful project implementation, the focus was on discussing project content and strategies for publicising the projects.

Movetia launches its funding programmes for international cooperation in 2024

Collaboration strengthens the international networking of Swiss educational institutions and ensures the quality of our education system. Movetia launches the 2024 funding programmes for cooperation with international partner institutions and organizations from the European and global education area.

Reputation of Swiss Higher Education Institutions: European cooperation plays a decisive role

At a meeting organised by Movetia in Bern on 15 September 2023, participating vice-rectors and project staff as well as representatives of swissuniversities, the ETH Board and the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) took stock of Switzerland's participation in Erasmus+ "European Universities". Discussions included why Swiss higher education institutions need to be involved in the alliances and why it is necessary for Switzerland to provide adequate co-funding.
