Language assistantships become even more global thanks to Swiss schools abroad

Thanks to a new collaboration with educationsuisse, Movetia is offering language assistantships in new target countries such as Italy and Singapore for the first time. Applicants must meet the usual eligibility requirements for outgoing mobility and be French or German native speakers. The stay will last between six and ten months.

Working as a language assistant at a host school abroad is the ideal way to improve one’s foreign language skills and gain teaching experience. It means an immersion of a very special kind. With the expansion of the language assistant program, Movetia’s offer becomes even more attractive and global.

Applications and placements are now processed via a specially developed administration software.

Interested host schools, including schools in Switzerland, can now register online and benefit from the subsidies with which Movetia financially supports each language assistance.
