For the first time representatives from universities of teacher education and the cantonal authorities responsible for exchanges had the opportunity to network and discuss shared visions, in a highly unusual setting.

Networking and cooperation are important prerequisites for the successful implementation of mobility projects. In terms of teacher education and training, universities of teacher education and the cantonal authorities responsible for exchanges are key actors. This is why it is so important for these groups to exchange ideas and work together.

The aim of the networking conference in Bern in September was to provide greater momentum for mobility and cooperation in teacher education and training. In order to provide a new, unusual setting for the exchange, the event was held in the car park of the station. At various stations, participants had to answer different questions or perform different tasks in constantly changing groups. In addition to getting to know one another, the aim of the event was to develop the ideal mobility project. The unique atmosphere of the location as well as the organisation work carried out by the start-up “Intrinsic Campus” lent the conference a great deal of motivation and creativity by pushing participants outside of their comfort zones.
